WASHINGTON, DC —On February 8, 2021, the American Hellenic Institute (AHI) held a conference call with the leadership of the State Department’s Office of Southern European Affairs, including:  Maria Olson, director, Office of Southern European Affairs, Ross Johnston, Greek desk officer, and Isabelle Chan, Cyprus desk officer.

“We thank Director Olson, Greek Desk Officer Johnston, and Cyprus Officer Chan for taking the time to speak with us,” AHI President Nick Larigakis said. “We appreciated the opportunity to discuss the latest developments in the Eastern Mediterranean.”

In addition to President Larigakis, American Hellenic Institute Foundation (AHIF) President Leon Andris and Director of Legislative Affairs Elias Gerasoulis, participated in the discussion.
