WASHINGTON, DC — President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou wrote to American Hellenic Institute (AHI) President Nick Larigakis in appreciation of President Larigakis’ congratulatory letter that he sent to President Sakellaropoulou on her ascendancy to the presidency.

In her letter, President Sakellaropoulou complimented AHI:

“Since 1974, the American Hellenic Institute has been an important rule of law advocate in Washington and has been actively working in order to promote bilateral relations between Greece and the United States.”

President Sakellaropoulou added that she looks forward to working with AHI “for the promotion of Greece-US partnership.”

She also conveyed her best wishes to AHI’s board of directors and members.
