AHI President Departs for First-ever Visit to Australia

WASHINGTON, DC — American Hellenic Institute (AHI) President Nick Larigakis departs for AHI’s first-ever official visit to Australia to meet with communities in four cities: Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, and Canberra.  In each city, President Larigakis will deliver a major speech. The two-week visit begins March 27 and concludes April 11, 2017.

“The diaspora in Australia is quite dynamic, and I look forward to meeting with many community leaders on this historic visit for the Institute,” said Larigakis. “I appreciate the opportunity to share AHI’s message and to hold discussions about the importance of AHI’s activities and initiatives regarding policy toward Greece and Cyprus with many Greek Australian organizations and community members.”

The American Hellenic Institute is an independent non-profit Greek American public policy center that works to strengthen relations between the United States and Greece and Cyprus, and within the Greek American community.
