HARRY THEOHARIS
Minister of Tourism of the Hellenic Republic

Mr. Theoharis has been repeatedly elected as a Member of the Greek Parliament since 2015. Previously he served as Secretary General for Information Systems at the Hellenic Ministry of Finance, and as Secretary General for Public Revenues where he organized the Agency and played an instrumental role in achieving budget revenue targets and producing a fiscal surplus. Minister Theoharis held senior management positions in the private sector and earned a masters Eng. degree in Software Engineering, with Honors, from Imperial College of Science Technology and Medicine-London.

TIM ANANIADIS
General Manager/Managing Director Hotel Grande Bretagne & King George

Mr. Ananiadis was born and raised in Greece and studied Business Administration at Ryerson University in Toronto, subsequently moving to the USA where he started his career in the hospitality industry. He has almost 40 years of international experience in the hospitality industry. In 1988 he moved to Chicago as the Corporate Director of Food and Beverage for Hyatt Hotels. As General Manager he held positions in the USA at the Hyatt Regency in Pittsburgh, Coral Gables and Miami. In 1999 he joined Hyatt International as the General Manager of the Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki in Greece and the Grand Hyatt Mumbai. In 2003 he joined Starwood Hotels and Resorts returning to Greece as the General Manager/ Managing Director of the Hotel Grande Bretagne. In 2006 and until 2017, he was Area Manager for Greece, Turkey, Cyprus & the Balkans, overseeing the Starwood affiliated hotels. In his current role, he oversees the Hotel Grande Bretagne & the King George, Luxury Collection properties, Athens. Tim is Vice Chairman of The American Community School (ACS) of Athens, Vice President of the Athens Hotel Association, board member of the Greek Health Tourism Organization and Chairman of the Marriott Worldwide Business Council in Greece & Cyprus.

Konstantinos Georgiadis
Vice President and General Manager, Amphitryon Travel USA

Konstantinos Georgiadis is the Vice President and General Manager of Amphitryon Travel USA, a tour company that was established in Washington DC 40 years ago, with the purpose of specializing on travel to Greece. Mr. Georgiadis was born in Athens Greece and after graduating from Athens College, he studied Comparative Literature at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg Florida and the University of Toronto in Canada. He would return to Greece every summer and this is when he started pursuing his interest and true passion which was a career in the hospitality industry.  From 1972 to 1979, he worked in various capacities in a number of tour companies in Athens, such as Horizon, American Express and CHAT tours. Upon his return to Greece in 1979, he fulfilled his obligations in the Greek Military and decided to follow a full time  career in travel. He worked for Manos Welcome Service from 1980 to 1983, handling groups from the United States and Japan, before joining Amphitrion Holidays in Athens in September of 1983. Apart from handling incoming tourism  from United States and Japan, he also traveled for the Company on sales trips to Europe . In early 1984, he was asked to spend part of the year at the office of Amphitrion in Washington DC  in order to assist with sales in the US. In 1986, he became Vice President and Sales Manger of the Company in the US. The company in the US is associated with the Amphitrion Group of Companies with other offices of the group located in Greece (Athens, Crete) and Japan (Tokyo and Osaka).
