WASHINGTON, DC—On May 30, 2006, AHI hosted a Noon Forum at the Hellenic House to commemorate the anniversary of the “Battle of Crete.” The speaker was Mr. Emmanuel E. Velivasakis, President of the PanCretan Association of America. The topic of the presentation was “The Battle of Crete: Nazi’s Elite War Machine Stopped by Crete’s non-Combatant Population.” The text of his remarks, bio and a photograph are attached.
